Which Lucid Dreaming/Dream Yoga Program is Right for Me?
Over the last few years I have offered a number of programs, books, and on-line courses about lucid dreaming and dream yoga. Here is how they all relate to each other. While there is obviously some overlap between these courses, each one offers original material not found in the courses. I work hard to make each one an original offering, covering topics not found in the others.
The Foundations of Lucid Dreaming
This is the most foundational program, available as an online course on my website. I recommend it as a great starting point. For those who have engaged in lucid dreaming but are still having trouble having lucid dreams, this program explains why, and is therefore beneficial for more advanced students as well. Read more >>>
How to Lucid Dream: My Topic Ten Techniques
A free PDF that lists my top induction techniques. These are tried-and-true methods for inducing lucid dreams that I continue to use in my own practice, and in my presentations. Read more >>>
Dream Yoga: The Tibetan Path of Awakening Through Lucid Dreaming
An audio learning course from Sounds True. It was such a success that Sounds True invited me to turn it into a book (see next offering). It’s a great introduction and overview of lucid dreaming and dream yoga. Read more >>>
Dream Yoga: Illuminating Your Life Through Lucid Dreaming and the Tibetan Yogas of Sleep
My book published by Sounds True that developed from the audio learning course. It covers much more material than the audio course, and is the cornerstone of all my offerings on this topic. This is my “bible” for the nocturnal practices. Read more >>>
Online Courses Offered Through Partner Sites
I am very happy with both of these courses. They offer a great deal of original material, not found anywhere else. When I prepare these courses I always start fresh, never drawing directly from previous courses. This means that even the repeated topics, like induction methods, is always crafted anew.
Dream Yoga with Tricycle Online
Offered through Tricycle Magazine, this is a six-week program designed more for students of Buddhism, or people wanting to go deeper. It offers a rich discussion-group format that answers the many questions that accompany an exploration of the night. It’s my most Buddhist-oriented program. Read more >>>
Dream Sculpting: Mastering the Art of Lucid Dreaming
A rich six-session web course put on by the Mindvalley Academy. It remains very popular, and offers a thorough overview for the beginning and intermediate student. Each recorded teaching session has a wonderful live component, where I took questions from participants and developed material from that session. Read more >>>
While books and online courses are great sources of information and learning, there is nothing quite like a live event. These live programs are all about interaction with participants, and include discussion groups, extensive Q and A, guided contemplations and meditations, individual interviews, customized talks, and a host of offerings only possible in a live setting. This is where the teachings are brought to life. I love to teach, and this is my favorite topic, so the energy found in these programs is unique.
