About Prana Del Mar
Prana Del Mar is a one-of-a-kind, stunningly beautiful beachfront retreat & wellness center at the southern tip of Baja. Though only 15 minutes from the outskirts of Cabo San Lucas, their location feels remote and private. Once you’re there, it will seem that you’re a world away from civilization.
With the Sierra de la Laguna mountains as the backdrop to the east, the endless expanse of the Pacific Ocean to the west, and the rugged desert all around, a feeling of serenity and tranquility permeates the center.
At the front of their property, you’ll find a beautiful golden sand beach. Stroll the water’s edge at sunrise or sunset and you’ll likely have the whole mile-and-half stretch all to yourself.
At this unique retreat location, you’ll be treated to vast open vistas, expansive skies, and a sense of spaciousness and tranquility. This beachfront retreat center is the perfect place to sink into the rhythm of nature, synching with its daily cycle.
This immersion in the beauty of your surroundings while on retreat in Baja will leave you feeling calm, relaxed, and connected – to both the outer world and your own inner landscape.
The schedule will include ample free time to enjoy beach walks, for swimming and relaxing by the pool & hot tub, taking a sauna, enjoying the roof deck and lovely gardens. If desired, the retreat center can arrange for spa services such as massages, body wraps, and therapeutic treatments.

- 7 nights accommodations at the luxurious Prana del Mar Retreat & Wellness Center
- Three incredible, healthful meals per day. Most meals are vegetarian with fresh fish and seafood served several times throughout the week.

- Airport transfers on December 4th and December 11th

The luxurous rooms at Prana Del Mar have polished travertine floors, pillow-top mattresses with 300 thread-count organic sheets, beautiful, custom-crafted teak and rattan furniture, and travertine bathrooms with organic bath towels. All have views of the ocean and the gardens.
They offer daily cleaning service for all rooms. In order to conserve water and the use of detergents, sheets and towels are washed twice per week unless otherwise requested.

Choose from your own private room or a shared room. Shared rooms reflect a per person rate and private is single occupancy. If you plan on participating in the program with a family member or friend, and wish to room together, please select the shared room option. Then pay with one transaction or separately. If you pay separately, email us at andrewholecekmarketing@gmail.com and inform us about your desire to room together. If you are coming alone and register for a shared room, we will assign you a roommate (of the same sex).
COVID 19 Vaccinations – We want all attendees to be comfortable in this setting, so we are asking that all attendees provide PROOF of COVID 19 VACCINATION before traveling to Prana Del Mar (we will followup via email after registering to ask you for this). Also, a negative COVID test is required for re-entry into the United States. Prana Del Mar contracts with a clinic that will visit the center to provide testing. The price is $70 USD. Or all travellers can be tested at the airport before departing.
What Covid-precautions and safety measures can I expect? While there is inherent risk of exposure in travel, Prana del Mar has strong safety protocols in place to support the health, well-being, and comfort of all retreat guests. In addition to actions noted below, this retreat is limited in capacity to ensure ample sample between guests in the yoga studio, and in any group session. At the beginning of the retreat, we will discuss some additional group efforts (allowing distance between individuals entering/exiting the studio, or other spaces), and communication protocols to ensure every guest is supported and empowered to speak their desires around spacing, etc.

Employee training for enhanced cleaning, sanitizing and personal hygiene (frequent hand-washing and hand-sanitizing).

Employee temperatures will be taken at beginning of each shift. They have a stay-home policy for any employee displaying symptoms or an increased temperature as per WHO guidelines.

Hand sanitizer will be available throughout the property.

Less frequent housekeeping for any guest rooms that request it.

Whenever possible cleanings will be done when guests are away from their rooms.

Cleaning staff will use masks and gloves and follow best practices including extra sanitizing for high touch items.

Kitchen staff will wear protective masks, hair covering, and gloves inside the kitchen.

There will be no guest handling of food at the buffet. Some meals may be served plated. In some cases, meals may be served buffet-style, with the resort staff serving requested portions while guests stand at a distance.

Social distance in dining area will be encouraged and sliding glass doors will be open to increase ventilation.

Studios will be cleaned and sanitized before and after practice.

Housekeeping staff will place extra focus on disinfecting high touch areas.

Each studio’s capacity will be reduced to ensure appropriate distance between each yogi.

Guests will have the options to select their yoga mat and props and keep them for the length of their retreat. Labels will be available to identify them. Guests will be allowed to take their props to their rooms if they prefer for peace of mind.

Disinfectant wipes will be freely available in each studio for our guests to clean their equipment.

Single occupancy is encouraged, except for couples or known friends or family members.

Refund Policy – $500 of the total is non-refundable. A 50% refund of the total paid (less $500) will be available until Nov 1, 2021. Due to our hotel contractual obligation, no credit or refund is available after Nov 1, 2021; or if you do not show up or leave the event early for any reason. No refund will be available if you attend a program and are dissatisfied with its presentation or content.
We reserve the right to cancel a program at any time. If we cancel a program, you will receive a full refund.
Travel insurance is highly recommended.
Covid-Related Cancellation – Considering the uncertainty around the Covid-19 pandemic and international travel, exceptions to our Cancellation Policy will be made for retreats offered in 2021. If we or the center determine it is not safe to hold the Retreat and it is postponed, all payments will be transferable to a future retreat or online program with Andrew. If Participant cancels due to Covid-related concerns within 90-days of the Retreat, we will make significant effort to fill the reservation and if successful, all payments will be refunded less the deposit. If we are not able to fill the reservation, all payments made will be transferable to a future retreat or online program with Andrew.
As always with international travel, travel insurance is strongly recommended. The Squaremouth travel insurance website allows you to easily get quotes from a number of insurance providers and it offers FAQs regarding COVID travel insurance issues. Some insurance policies will cover the cost of the retreat as well as flights.
