About Prana Del Mar
Prana Del Mar is a one-of-a-kind, stunningly beautiful beachfront retreat & wellness center at the southern tip of Baja. Though only 15 minutes from the outskirts of Cabo San Lucas, their location feels remote and private. Once you’re there, it will seem that you’re a world away from civilization.
With the Sierra de la Laguna mountains as the backdrop to the east, the endless expanse of the Pacific Ocean to the west, and the rugged desert all around, a feeling of serenity and tranquility permeates the center.
At the front of their property, you’ll find a beautiful golden sand beach. Stroll the water’s edge at sunrise or sunset and you’ll likely have the whole mile-and-half stretch all to yourself.
At this unique retreat location, you’ll be treated to vast open vistas, expansive skies, and a sense of spaciousness and tranquility. This beachfront retreat center is the perfect place to sink into the rhythm of nature, synching with its daily cycle.
This immersion in the beauty of your surroundings while on retreat in Baja will leave you feeling calm, relaxed, and connected – to both the outer world and your own inner landscape.
The schedule will include ample free time to enjoy beach walks, for swimming and relaxing by the pool & hot tub, taking a sauna, enjoying the roof deck and lovely gardens. If desired, the retreat center can arrange for spa services such as massages, body wraps, and therapeutic treatments.
This retreat includes:
- 7 nights accommodations at the luxurious Prana del Mar Retreat & Wellness Center
- Three incredible, healthful meals per day. Most meals are vegetarian with fresh fish and seafood served several times throughout the week.
- Optional yoga class each day
- Airport transfers on December 3rd and December 10th
- All sales and hotel taxes
Price does not include: Airfare to Cabos San Lucas (SJD), optional spa services, additional activities or excursions, alcohol, travel insurance (recommended), gratuities.
Meals
The retreat includes three healthy, delicious meals daily. The Prana Del Mar chefs prepare fine Mexican and international recipes using the freshest ingredients available, sourcing vegetables from their organic garden. Most meals are vegetarian. They also offer fresh fish and seafood several times a week. If you are vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, have food allergies, the chefs do an exceptional job of accommodating you. Schedule is: Coffee/Tea, & Fruit 7:30 am; Breakfast 10 am; Lunch 1:30 pm; Dinner 6:30 pm.
Accommodations
The luxurous rooms at Prana Del Mar have polished travertine floors, pillow-top mattresses with 300 thread-count organic sheets, beautiful, custom-crafted teak and rattan furniture, and travertine bathrooms with organic bath towels. All have views of the ocean and the gardens.
They offer daily cleaning service for all rooms. In order to conserve water and the use of detergents, sheets and towels are washed twice per week unless otherwise requested.

Choose from your own private room or a shared room. Shared rooms reflect a per person rate and private is single occupancy. If you plan on participating in the program with a family member or friend, and wish to room together, please select the shared room option. Then pay with one transaction or separately. If you pay separately, email us at info@andrewholecek.com and inform us about your desire to room together. If you are coming alone and register for a shared room, we will assign you a roommate (of the same sex).
COVID Information – Presently there are no COVID restrictions at the Prana del Mar facility. Prana del Mar always has strong safety protocols in place to support the health, well-being, and comfort of all retreat guests. You will need to follow COVID travel guidelines in airports and on flights and ground transportation. Currently a negative COVID test is required to board the flight home to the US. The Prana staff will coordinate this test for you. Cost at the time of the test is approximately $50.
Refund Policy – $500 of the total is non-refundable. A 50% refund of the total paid (less $500) will be available until September1, 2023. Due to our hotel contractual obligation, no credit or refund is available after September 1, 2023; or if you do not show up or leave the event early for any reason. No refund will be available if you attend a program and are dissatisfied with its presentation or content.
We reserve the right to cancel a program at any time. If we cancel a program, you will receive a full refund.
As always with international travel, travel insurance is strongly recommended. The Squaremouth travel insurance website allows you to easily get quotes from a number of insurance providers and it offers FAQs regarding COVID travel insurance issues. Some insurance policies will cover the cost of the retreat as well as flights.
